THE WEDDING OF ALEXIS & CHRISTOPHER
Formal invitation to be mailed by Sept. 3rd. Kindly return your invitation response card as soon as possible, in hopes we receive them by the due date, Sept. 19th. You can RSVP for the welcome party, after party and send-off brunch by tapping here.
The ceremony will be indoors at the Church of the Incarnation – just two miles north of the reception venue. The reception is indoors at the Arts District Mansion in downtown Dallas, cocktail hour will be both indoor and outdoor at the front of the Mansion.
Yes! Free parking will be available at both venues. If you plan to indulge in alcoholic beverages, we highly recommend you plan accordingly. Uber, Lyft and Alto are great ride sharing options. Free Valet parking will be available at the Arts District Mansion during the reception and after party. Please enter off Olive street to valet your vehicle. Note, you cannot leave your vehicle overnight.
Yes! The dress code for the ceremony and reception is black tie. We ask that the gentlemen wear a tuxedo or a formal dark suit, white shirt, dark bowties or neckties, black shoes and socks. We invite the ladies to wear an evening gown or cocktail dress below the knee and formal shoes.
While we love your little ones, we are looking forward to enjoying an adult only evening. We hope this will allow you a much-deserved night off to celebrate with us!

The reception venue is located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas. We have a block of rooms reserved with a special rate for guest at three hotels – walking distance from the reception venue. The JW Marriot Dallas being our primary hotel block. If you'd like to explore other options, there are many hotels in the downtown area. Click on the “Travel & Stay” section to learn more.
The State Fair of Texas is the longest-running fair in the nation, as well as one of the largest. It is one of the bride and grooms favorite early dating spots, so what better way to kick off wedding weekend then an evening with Big Tex and our favorite people. Note, this is a casual "come and go" event.
When: Thursday, Oct. 16th | 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
